A child gazes at a star-strewn sky, glimpsing the man in the moon and the Big Dipper. Each and every adult mirroring this action should see possibilities. Space exploration is among the most important quests of modern-day mankind. Efforts to conquer the final frontier yield endless technological advances. If it’s not the GPS device used to find your way home, it’s the smoke detector in your kitchen. The field of space exploration started with a dream and dreams are what fuel it today.
